Paul Handley Obituary
Paul was born June 5, 1981 in Germany to Nancy Handley Seaton and the late John Edwin Handley, who died July 17, 1990. Paul was a graduate of Bradwell Institute, Class of '99. After high school he attended college for a while before beginning a career in the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force he successfully completed Airborne School where he began training new soldiers.
Paul loved all sports. In his pastime he enjoyed watching sports with his mother. Basketball, baseball and football, it didn't matter which one, he loved them all. You could ask him anything about sports, he always had the answer. His favorite, if he had to choose, were the Detroit Lions, didn't matter if they won or lost, he was their biggest fan.
Paul is survived by his mother, Nancy Handley of Hinesville; sister, Kersten Hofkin (Kevin) of Hinesville; niece, Kaylee Vaughn; nephew, Evan Vaughn; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Paul was preceded in death by his brother, sidekick, and best friend, Jared Nelson Handley who died April 24, 2013.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 6:00 pm at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Flemington. Visitation will begin thirty minutes prior to the service.
