Patrick McDonnell Obituary

This note is not timely, but I could not let it go unsaid. Mr McDonald was instrumental in my life and I consider him a true mentor. While my interactions were not always positive (as I was a bit mischievous as a child). His disciplined approach help me to find a path. I will forever be grateful to him for the guidance he provided me.

Helen. I just read the e mail and am So sorry for your loss. Had I known we would have been to the service for Pat Also sorry Henry and I lost contact. We talked about you and Pat often I still laugh when I remember the goats in the backyard. Hope all is well with you. Call, text if you need anything. Love

Prayers for comfort for the family. Mr. McDonnell was an inspiration to so many. He truly cared about his students and we about him. RIP

Pat was always an uplifting kind of guy as I met with him over at Anthony Wayne school and other places over the years. Thanks for the memories.

So sorry to hear Mr Mc Donnell passed away.I was a student at East Denison.

My grade school principal. You made such a difference in the lives of so many children. Rest peacefully in the arms of our Savior. Well done kind sir, well done. God's blessings on you and your family. I and many others will never forget you.

I went to elementary school at East Denison in the 60's. Mr. McDonnell was a great principal. I liked him very much. He liked coming to see my school garden that we got graded on & awarded ribbons. My condolences to the family.

Oh I am so sorry. Thought of him so often. Tell everyone how loving he was to me because of my health issues that he worried so much he would come to the house to see how I was. Cried harder than my parents did when I actually got an attendance ribbon. Will always stay in my heart and will always be loved

Dear Paul, Terri and Elena, My deepest sympathy to all of the McDonnells Family. Your Dad was an amazing Father who lived life so fully to serve others and lived the St. Ignatius motto, "men for others".
