Doris Owens Obituary

A Celebration of Life service for Doris Bernice Owens, 83, of Clarksville, TN will be Friday, February 21, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 12:30 PM until the hour of service. 

Doris was on born on May 18, 1941 in Indianapolis, IN to Everett and Winnie Henson. Doris enjoyed shopping, bowling, watching game shows, and family gatherings. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Doris was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Owens, Sr, daughter, Winnie Owens Bashur, and brothers, Michael Henson and Everett Henson. Doris is survived by her children, Renay Owens Ross, Ray Owens, Jr., and Tyrone Owens, grandchildren: Tony, Jamia, Anesha, Donald Jr., Keiona, Christopher, Nikita, Wesley “Seth”, Tyrone, Jr., Khiry, Corey, and great- grandchildren: Jahmel, Kennedi, Jordyn, Jadore, Linkyn, Imersyn, and Paisley, siblings, Victoria Richardson and David Henson.
