Alice Aanerud Obituary

Alice Dorothy Aanerud, age 71, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Alice will be laid to rest, next to her son, at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.

She entered this life on August 17, 1953, in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Catarino and Maria Zapata Rodela. She worked as a Medical Insurance clerk for Complete Home Healthcare for 12 years and later retired from Warren’s Apothecary after 15 years of dedicated employment. After retirement, she and Chuck purchased an RV and went on many camping trips together. They enjoyed Land Between the Lakes, Fall Creek Falls, trips to Alabama, and most recently, The Bourbon Trail. Alice was also a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Prior to getting sick, she enjoyed bowling and playing bingo. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

 In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Shane Aanerud.

Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Chuck Aanerud; son, Christopher Aanerud (Karino), and granddaughter, Brookelynn Aanerud.
