Jannifer Robinson Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jannifer Robinson, age 62, who left us peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Jannifer was affectionally called "Nikki" or "NeNe" by her family and friends. Born in Decatur, Illinois, Jannifer was a cherished daughter of James and Lucy B. Johnson. She was a proud graduate of Eisenhower High School, class of 1981, furthering her education at Lincoln College in Lincoln, IL, and Lincoln University in Jefferson City, MO, where she cultivated her passion for lifelong learning. Jannifer was known for her vibrant spirit and her love for life. She enjoyed shopping, grilling in the warm sunshine, and keeping in touch with her beloved family and friends. She also dedicated many years of her life to her work at Mueller Casting Company. Her warm heart and infectious laughter brought joy to everyone she met, making her a treasured presence in their lives. Jannifer is survived by her three beloved children, Amber Robinson, Shaylen Robinson, and Jalen Robinson (Kadera). She also embraced her role as a bonus mother to Reggie Lee, who was dear to her heart. She leaves behind her cherished brothers, Malcolm (Antra) Morgan Sr. and Darron Johnson, brother-in-law: Dennis Lee and Rickey Lee as well as her sister, Gwen Johnson and sister-in-law, Car Cynthia Lee - Bethel. Jannifer will be lovingly remembered by her aunts, Elnora Turner, Dorothy Jean Davis, and Larice Manns, her dear cousins, Felicia Johnson, Larry, and Brenda Jarrett, and her special friend, Stephanie Wright, who stood by her side through thick and thin. Jannifer was preceded in death by her devoted husband, David Lee Robinson, and her beloved parents, James Johnson and Lucy B. Johnson.
