Steven Graveman Obituary


Steven "Steve" Graveman, 69, of Mount Auburn, died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, March 10, 2024, of natural causes. He was born December 11, 1954, in Vinton, the son of Oliver and Vivian (Roster) Graveman.

Steve served in the US Army and worked as a truck driver. On December 19, 2004, he married Connie Harmsen in Vinton. Steve enjoyed fishing and camping and liked to keep busy scrapping. He relaxed while moving the lawn or watching Western movies.

He is survived by his wife, Connie; son Steven O. (Diana) Graveman‚ and their daughter Isabell of Mount Auburn; daughter Jodi E (Jason) Sullivan and their sons Landon and Wyatt of Fairbank; step-son, Kevin G Harmsen of Mount Auburn; step-daughter, Jennifer (Charlie) Koph and their children Caden and Sydni of Denver; brothers: Terry (Colleen) of Newhall, Rock (Sheila) of Dysart, and Dan Graveman; sister Cindy (Mark) Hopkins of Brandon; and several nieces great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Sherry Graveman.

A family directed celebration of life will take place on Friday, March 22, from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Mount Auburn American Legion, with a private family committal in Mount Auburn cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
