To Guy III and the entire Garheart family. On behalf of the Carroll County Department of Fire & EMS our sincerest and heartfelt condolences and prayers on the loss of your father who was also a dedicated grandfather, family man, public safety servant and so many other things that defined who he was. His values continue as we see every day through the commitment and work ethic of Captain Guy Garheart III at DFEMS. May the memories of Guy II warm your hearts as his legacy will remain! R.I.P! Guy was always a very quiet person when I taught him at Sykesville Jr. High. but he usually worked hard. I would not recognize him now if I had seen him, according to this picture. Then I met his son at PVCFD where I sometimes volunteered. I recognized the name as soon as I heard it. May God bless Guy's family and help them through their loss.

Dear Garheart Family,
I knew Bud from our time at Springfield Hospital Center - he was one of the "good guys" and I know that he will be missed by all who knew him. You have my sincere condolences on your loss.
