Of Buffalo, NY. Passed away on March 2, 2022. Dear father of Ryan (Courtney) Simonick, LeighAnn (Raymond) Thurston and Hilary Simonick; loving grandfather of Charles and Maeve, beloved son of the late George T. Sr. and Mary Rita (Kiebzak) Simonick; brother of Greg (Judy) Simonick, Tracy (John Randolph) Simonick and Geoffrey (Sue) Simonick; loving companion of Julia Cameron; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday, from 3 - 7 PM at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3155 Orchard Park Road, in Orchard Park, where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 9:30 AM. George , thank you for everything you did for us growing up! You were the best soccer coach any ward or valley kid could have ever asked for, and always a great addition to my mornings in the stairway walking into hutch tech, even if sometimes I was a little late .. you will be missed my friend prayers and god bless

Sending prayers, George was a great man and will be dearly missed. He was hard working, compassionate and had a great sense of humor. He was more than just a coworker to me and many others. Know that he has touched so many lives, between the students, the staff, his coworkers and his friends. Hope you're enjoying a campfire up there.

So sorry to hear about George. He was a great guy. We didn´t see each other that often but when we did he was fun to be around. I´ll never forget that he was in my wedding party and we all had a great time. It was a night to remember. May he Rest In Peace.
