John TUITE Obituary

TUITE, John "Jack" Age 81, of North Easton, MA, passed away peacefully in his sleep, on Monday, November 6. A native of Hingham, MA, Jack was the son of Rose and Jack Tuite and the eldest of seven children. In the summer of 1970, Jack met the love of his life, Ann Marie McLaughlin, on Cape Cod. They were married the following year, ultimately settling in North Easton where they raised their family.

A graduate of Stonehill College and Bridgewater State University, Jack earned a master's degree in math education. He taught for a combined 52 years in Holbrook, Randolph (32 years), Milton, and finally at neighboring Oliver Ames High School in Easton. Jack loved teaching and regaled his family with stories of his students and the delight he got from the classroom. He was full of classic dad/teacher jokes and puns. During the summer months, he could be found tending to his garden and playing as much golf as possible. A fan of all sports, he particularly loved baseball and the Boston Red Sox and was a coach to his girls' recreational softball teams.

More than anything, Jack loved his family. In his final days, he frequently shared that he was the "luckiest guy in the world" being married to his wife, Ann of 52 years, and the father to Christine and Susie. He was also a caring father-in-law to Joe and Nasser. Known as "Papa Jack" to Nolan, Rania, Jacquie, and Rami, he adored his grandchildren and his favorite memories were when they piled on his lap to read books together. In addition, he is survived by his siblings, Elizabeth Clark, Thomas Tuite, William Tuite, Andrew and sister-in-law Lisa Tuite, and Paula Mullen and predeceased by his sister, Julie Tuite. Jack was a proud uncle to thirteen nieces and nephews, and 16 grand-nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held at Kane Funeral Home, 605 Washington St., SOUTH EASTON on Friday, November 10, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
