Barbara Monette Obituary

Barbara May (Elliott) Monette, 92 of Williamstown, MA died on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Williamstown Commons.

She was born in Bristol, CT on May 2, 1931, a daughter of James and Mabel (Chenaille) Elliott. She came to North Adams as a child and attended local schools.

Barbara worked for the Clark Biscuit Co., and Sprague Electric Co. She was last employed by A Shapiro & Sons Scrap Metal. She was a communicant of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church.

Her first husband was William Dami who died in 1969. Survivors include her daughter, Diane Pytko of North Adams and two grandchildren, Michelle Kemp and Cassie Dami Boucher. She also leaves seven great-grandchildren including Hannah, Isiah, Alizjah, Justin, Jacob, Jaelyn and Ashton; her brothers, James Elliott and Robert Elliott and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, William R. Dami in 2004.

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Barbara Monette will be Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA. Burial will be at a later date in Southview cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Berkshire Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
