Reid Burgess Obituary
He was predeceased by his parents, Hugh and Doris Burgess, of Ellicott City. He is survived by his siblings Sandra Funke (Rich), Deborah West (Bob), Stephan Burgess (Ellen), and Holly Burgess. He is also survived by brother-in-law, Dan Cage (Lynn) and his loving mother-in-law, Judith Cage.
He will also be lovingly remembered by his nephew, nieces, their spouses, and children.
Born in Ellicott City, MD, on April 10, 1956, Reid was a graduate of Howard High School. He began working at Mid-Atlantic Toyota and ended with a 40-year career at Bill Kidd's Toyota.
He enjoyed sports, automobiles, vintage WWII aircraft, history, cooking, and spending time with his family.
A Celebration of Reid's life is being planned for spring.

When I was packing up to leave Bill Kidd's Toyota-Volvo, Reid and Harry came from their offices and wished me well. They were sad that I was no longer going to be a sales manager at the dealership. NO one from the sales force was there because of a monthly breakfast meeting at Hunt Valley. The two of them showed their appreciation for my professionalism. They cared. It was the best thing for me because God led me to become a financial professional with a great deal of success (trips, awards,respect). I still miss talking to Reid when my 11th Toyota gets serviced. Ed
