Paul Littmann Obituary

Paul B. Littmann died on 1/17/24, at the age of 94. He and his wife Anne S. Littmann, who passed away on 5/14/22, were long-time residents of Harford County. They raised four children, Paul B Littmann, Jr., (Claudia) of Columbia, MD; Carol Pfistner (Steve) of Spofford, NH; Jeanne Schick (Bob) of Whiteford, MD, and Cathy Bryan (Donny) of Columbia, MD. Paul is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Most of Paul's childhood was spent in Westfield, New Jersey. He went on to graduate from Ohio Wesleyan College with a degree in Economics, and then joined the Marine Corps during the Korean War. After his military service he went to Wharton School of Finance where he earned his MBA. Paul started his professional career at Martin Marietta Corporation, where he worked for thirteen years. He then joined T. Rowe Price in 1967 where he rose to Vice President and Secretary of the firm. He retired from Price in 1985. Paul's favorite pastimes were golf and fishing. He fished in roughly the same spot in Canada for fifty years, always with Paul, Jr., and with a variety of other friends and family members to fill out the canoes.

An avid golfer, Paul was a member of Maryland Golf and Country Club, where he also served a term as President. He and his foursome enjoyed traveling to different courses around the world. As a family man, Paul's favorite memories are of Anne and him packing the four kids into the station wagon du jour and heading up and down the East Coast on vacation. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Tee (empowering kids and teens through the game of golf) or to the House of Hope Animal Rescue.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Paul's life at the Evans Life Celebration Home-3 Newport Drive (Rts 23 and 24) Forest Hill on Friday, February 9 from 3-5 PM with a Memorial Service to begin at 5 PM.
