Howard Farrington Obituary

Howard Henry Farrington, Jr. passed away peacefully at his home in Hanover, PA on Monday, January 15, 2024.

Howard worked as an accountant and then operations manager for the Keuffel and Esser Company in New Jersey and Baltimore over the course of a 24-year career. Following that, he worked for 18 years as a non-profit executive officer for the National Emergency Medicine Association in Towson.

Howard is survived by Lucille, his loving wife of 55 years, as well as his sons, Dr. Howard Farrington, III and wife, Erin, of Hanover, PA and Kevin Farrington and wife, Christy, of Parker, CO; granddaughters Katie and Megan Farrington; grandsons, Logan and Liam Farrington, and step-grandsons, Jordan and Chase Gindlesperger.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM on February 3, 2024 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 6084 W. Canal Road, Abbottstown, PA 17301. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

The family requests memorial donations may be made to the Homewood at Plum Creek Benevolence Fund, 425 Westminster Ave., Hanover, PA 17331 or to or the VNA Hospice of Hanover and Spring Grove, 440 Madison Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
