Allan Leri Obituary
Our beautiful boy; best father, best son, best brother, best cousin, best nephew, best friend, Allan Travis Leri, had his life unjustly and tragically taken by a drunk driver who ran a red light as Allan was driving home from work.
As his daughter Amalia wrote, Allan was a kind, artistic and passionate soul who loved his children to the moon and back, and treasured his family and friends. In return, everyone who knew Allan loved him.
Musician and visual artist, his music and art spoke his heart. Avid reader and writer. He carried a journal in every jacket pocket because words of beauty were always at his fingertips. His generosity of spirit knew no bounds.
Allan is survived by his wonderful children, Amalia Leri and Jack Leri; parents, Craig and Theresa Leri; sister and brother-in-law, Heather and Jeremy Sung; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, who are left grieving the devastating loss of Allan.
The family asks you to attend a march in honor of Allan, and in protest of impaired drivers, on December 30, 2023, at the corners of Orange Grove Ave. and Roseville Rd., N. Highlands, at noon. Rain or shine, we will march and bring attention to the absolute devastation that impaired drivers cause.
A celebration of Allan's remarkable and artistic life will be held in April 2024 in Sacramento.

A wonderful person and loved by many. A car enthusiast from the time he could walk and talk. He was about 7 or 8 when his uncle Gary drove into his parents driveway in a Porche 911. Allan walked around that car and said, "now that´s a car". His 9 year old son Jack has the same love of cars and will carry on in his dad´s enthusiasm
