I am so sad to hear of Don´s passing. I happened to see when I was searching my father´s obituary. Thomas Faylor died peacefully January 3,2024.
I will always have fond memories of "Don Laatsch". As I called him my whole life. You are missed

So sorry to hear of Don´s passing and share the feeling that a bright light that has been dimming was extinguished. I got to see Don this summer with Betty, and, even though he was bedbound, he was gracious, welcoming and his eyes still twinkled. I heard about his death a couple of days ago from one of the Saline teachers. I was sitting in a trattoria in Rome and promptly raised a glass to and enjoyed a moment of memory and connection. My heart is with your most special family. Give Janet a hug for me and I will call her when I return to the states. Love, Leslie
