Margaret BERRY Obituary

BERRY
Margaret (nee Seaton)
Died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on September 2, 2025,
at Highland Hospice, Inverness.
Aged 63 and originally from Grimsay, North Uist and latterly of Fortrose,
a precious daughter of the late Margaret and Donald.
The beloved wife of Douglas, a loving mother to Rhona and Andrew, much loved sister of Hamish and the late Isabel and sister-in-law to Carol and Oliver, a cherished aunt and a dear friend to many.
We are thankful for a life of service and deep friendship to so many. A life that demonstrated such care for family, friends and all those she influenced in her career as a teacher.
Above all we give thanks that by God's goodness it was a life founded on a Christian faith which particularly sustained her over the last 3 years of illness.
We wish to express our deep gratitude to the staff at Highland Hospice for the exemplary compassion, care and support they gave to Margaret and to the family over the last 5 weeks.
A service of Thanksgiving will take place on Monday, September 15, at 1 pm at Smithton Free Church, Murray Road, Inverness, to which all are welcome to attend. Family flowers only, please. Donations in memory of Margaret for Cancer Research UK can be given at the service. Livestream available via www.johnfraserandson.com/
