Wayne CHAN Obituary

CHAN, Wayne (Wayne). Born February 02, 1960. Passed away February 28, 2019. The family of Wayne Chan would like to express their gratitude for the support they have received since Wayne's passing. The many kind messages of condolences, flowers and generous donations to the Heart Foundation have been very touching, and helps us through a very difficult period of time. The family appreciates those who were able to attend Wayne's funeral, particularly those who travelled, so that we were able to create a very special farewell for a man who will be missed by so many.

So very sad to only just hear of Wayne's passing, far too young.
Wayne was a great person to work with and always up for a laugh, Mark and I were the resident band at New Orient restaurant Strand Arcade for 6+ years and got to know Wayne quite well, just a great guy to be around.
Condolences to the extended Chan family

When my brother Robert emailed me,
I could hardly believe it.
But he always would recognize me and have a chat and help personally with any questions I may have had.
He was a great representative of our community.

Wayne, you were a great friend to our whole family. We really enjoyed your company and enjoyed the evenings out and all the laughs.

When you lived down the road from us, you'd always stop your car in the middle of the road to chat to us if we were in our driveway.
And when you moved up the ladder, and up the road from us, you'd still do the same.

You left a lasting impression on us that will last forever... You had an appreciation for life, along with a great sense of humour. You were generous, caring and thoughtful to one and all.
We will all miss you very much and never forget you.
Our hearts go out to your dearly loved partner in life Annette, your wonderful children Ashleigh, and Jordan, and please rest assured we will be there for them.
You are the best of the best.

Ants, Willow, Maddie and Jarrod Chan.

You have always been a fighter, an achiever. You fought gallantly, against all odds, to give us the comfort that we desired so much. Alas, the odds were just too great. Thank you for being the brother-in-law, the uncle and the mate of a lifetime. We will miss you at our family gatherings, but will continue to see, hear and feel, all that is you, around us. A job well done Wayne-boy.
