To all the Cox whanau - it was a privilege to meet and get to know Fred as a neighbour after moving to the area nearly 7 years ago. Both he and Jo have always been open, friendly and helpful, and curious about what's going on for me. Fred's cheerfulness despite the growing health issues was remarkable. I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to know you Fred, and to have been able to help you in return when I could. E te hoa Fred, moe mai ra.

To all the Cox family, it was very sad to hear of Mr Cox's passing (I wasn't allowed to call him Fred!) So many happy times at the Cox house and great chats. Sorry I 'stole' your roast meals from off your plate! While we are super sad to see you leave us, I am sure Alison is happy to catch up with you again. Love to Mrs C, you guys were my second family. RIP Love Lesley (and Kenny)

So very sorry to learn of Fred's passing. Such a lovely man who did so much for so many and always with a smile. Remembering the work days at the AA and NIMU Insurance. Fred would always light up a room. Sincere sympathy to all his family and friends.

On behalf of the Moriarty family we offer our sincere condolences on Fred's passing. We have many great memories of our family enjoying the Cox family's company. Fred was also an amazing Justice of the Peace signing many pieces of paper for our own children over the years. No doubt Isobel and Ted will be welcoming him at the pearly gates. As we are in lockdown in Auckland our thoughts are with you all.
Regards Jo and Murray Hills
