Brian Everett was an unforgettable character .. gregarious and fun-loving who worked hard and played hard.

I conducted my first of many marriage ceremonies at The Lodge on 23 February 1979 and the last 23 years later in 2002.

Many memorable occasions have been shared with Brian and Anne by my wife Fay and myself ... Food & Wine Society dinners along with visits to vineyards in New Zealand and Adelaide ... they both loved to travel.

We extend our condolences to Mandy and Mark and Brian's wider family. May he now rest in peace.

Sorry to hear of Brian's passing. I worked for him on a part time basis at the lodge for many years. Boy they were the days. Thanks for the fun times Brian, working at the lodge and west end rowing club was a blast. So many stories. RIP old friend. Neil Horan

Sir Brian
Wow what a life you have lived my frend from Cabin boy to Lord of the Manor.
Our own naughty little Ronnie Corbett.
With that infectious laugh and the many stories you created and told, mostly enjoying great wine & food.
You where the best living comedy act ever, you even made marathon training fun. Even collecting seaweed to make a Brian garden tonic I always have you in mind and brings a smile to my face.
Thank you my friend it's been so much fun, sorry I wasn't there at the end.
Thanks to Trish she took care of everything for you .
You will always hold a special place in my heart.
Please don't disturb Anne's peace to much I know it will be a happy reunion.

Love you always

We have very happy memories of time spent with Brian and Anne - mostly eating good food and drinking excellent wines - and so much laughter.

We will always treasure those times.

I was the wedding pianist at The Lodge for many years. Brian was very good to me and the staff being a true gentleman. I have fond memories of Brian and the expertise he showed in running his business with humour and panache. He will live on in my memory. They were wonderful and happy days.
To all the loved ones he left behind, I wish you peace and comfort as you farewell Brian.
