I had the pleasure of dealing with Warick and Venna for many years. Nothing was a problem to them and it was always a pleasure when he called in to visit. He was held in high regard, a true gentleman. Condolences to Venna and the family

These messages reflect the respect and high regard Warick had with so many in our library community. I first met Warick in his early days of Book Protection Products when I was just up the road at Murrays Bay Intermediate and Venna has always been an important part of the team. When I moved to Christchurch it was great to have Warick pop in and catch-up. Sincere sympathy to the family and what a great man he was and a pleasure to work with.

Warick was a true gentleman; he was careful to provide top class products & up to date catalogues, yet he went the extra mile to help me out with issues of theft in the library, bringing back solutions & phone calls from librarians in high places around the country. He even offering to talk to my Principal to impress the severity of the situation on him. A kind man I will not forget.

Warick was such a great supporter of libraries and librarians. I looked forward to his visits and his presence at conferences knowing that he cared a lot about what he did and understood our needs.I will miss his courtesy and good humour.

Warick was such a kind and courteous man. As a high school librarian, I greatly appreciated his assistance to me and the great support he gave to our school library community.

I heard this news with sadness. I had many conversations with Warick over a period of 20 years both in a professional capacity and personal. He finally got his Crabapple Tree. He will be sadly missed.

Warick was an enthusiastic visitor to our school who was always interested in what was happening in the library community in Southland. Loved his humour and that he took time to have a good ole chin-wag after the business was done. My sincerest condolences to Venna and the family for your loss. Eileen Barnett; Menzies College

It is sad to learn of your passing. I have known you for around 25 years when you first started Book Protection Products Ltd. A very kind gentle man.
