Ron,
Hope you find that great dirt track in the sky.
A good friend who freely shared his knowledge and time, always looking after others. That cap was your trade mark. Will be missed sadly by all who had the privilege of knowing you.

Ron, with your passing we have lost a good man,
Your kindness and consideration both in thoughts and actions, your humility, strength and calmness,
Your were respected and admired by your peers,
Your clever intuitive abilities as an engineer, your meticulous workmanship,
Your achievements were the stuff of legend,
You loved a good laugh, the witty use of language and you loved being entertaining,
Your love and respect for animals showed your true caring nature,
You were friendly, helpful, intelligent and genuine, your love and friendship meant a great deal to a great many,
Don't want to believe you have gone, see you later my friend.

Sincere sympathy goes to Rons family and friends. So sad to here you had gone. You always found time to speak to us when we bumped into each other. The last time would have been at Waikaraka last season. Rest in peace Ron. Rob and Gaylene Salmon and family.

It's hard to believe I'm not going to see you again.
Many saturdays spent down Barrys Point Road workshop saturday
nights spent at Waikaraka Park.
Racing to the top of the main grandstand to get our seats at the top of the grandstand proudly flying 22A banner. The dust & the smell of methanol will always remind me of you.
When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.
My sincere condolence to Mark and Family.

Uncle Ronald, for almost forty years you have always been there with a pot of tea (although more recently it was a cup of coffee) and conversation. Who is going to remind me of an Auckland before the Harbour Bridge or the Beatles concert he went to? Remember your important instructions 1. Go Fast, 2 Turn Left. Who knows where that may take you now. In the words of one very special Ronald Andrew Willoughby - DAMMIT!! Love Vicki and Laura Berry.
