EISDELL MOORE, Sir Patrick William (Pat) 2NZEF, Reg No 420402, 28th Maori Battalion, Capt. Died peacefully at Eastcliffe on Orakei on Thursday, 18 June 2015; aged 97 years. Dearly loved husband of Beth. Loved father and father-in-law of Anthony and Pauline, Tim and Ann, Simon and Jane, Chris and Heather. Much loved grandfather of Hamish, Michael, Nick, William, Richard, Alastair, Henry, Edward, Matty, Sarah, Tom, George and six great-grandchildren. Loved brother of Dorjean Massey and the late Dick Moore. A service will be held at St Mary's-in-Holy Trinity, 446 Parnell Road, Parnell on Wednesday, 24 June at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Deafness Research Foundation, PO Box 37729, Parnell or The Hearing House, PO Box 74-022, Greenlane would be appreciated. Special thanks to the staff of Eastcliffe.

A truly wonderful man, and Doctor. Inspirational to nurses and responsible for teaching us the skills of diagnosis and treatment with microscopy. A great representative for the hearing impaired. A great friend to those he worked alongside. I personally will never forget him and what he has done for my life and career.Rest in peace dear man .Sincere condolences to the family.

Remembered fondly. Sir Pat once said to me when I was his young patient,that there were 2 experts in the room, the patient and the doctor. As a small child this made an impression on me. As a general practitioner now it is a lesson I always remember when listening to my own patients. Thank you for your inspiration.

Sir Patrick is remembered as a great support and mentor to all Ear Nurses in our community.
He was instrumental in establishing the first Mobile Ear Clinic on the East Coast -north of Gisborne. The Ear Nurse Specialist Group now has over 70 nurses.We thank you Sir Pat for leaving a wonderful legacy for our communities. Sincerest condolences to the Moore family

EISDELL Moore, Sir Patrick William (Pat) Died on Thursday June 18, aged 97. A wonderful New Zealander, full of insight, humanity and wit. His vision and compassion for the hearing impaired lives on in the lives of hundreds of deaf children who can now hear and speak thanks to his foresight. Fondly remembered by the board, staff and families at The Hearing House. Rest in peace, Sir Pat.
