Dear Malcolm, Sammy and Charmaine, I am so sorry for your loss. I will remember Adele as being kind, terrific fun and a great mum. I remember those electrifying giggles too Charmaine! I bet that she loved and excelled at being a grandma too. My love to you all.

With Sympathy to Malcolm and family ..
My brother John and I were very particularly shocked and sad to read this notice, and of the ordeals of Adele over the last few years. Our mother (also Marie) was godmother to Adele, and it was a relationship that she valued - in addition to our friendship and visits with the Bowan family that extended over many years.
Our memories of Adele of a particularly bright personality and energetic presence; lasting memories for sure.
Warm regards

My beautiful Mother Adele. I am so very heartbroken with the realisation of your loss. Thank you so much for being the most incredible mother to me and more importantly being my best friend. I have never been loved by anyone as much as you and I believe you were my soulmate too. I will look for you always and listen carefully for your electrifying giggles as I go through the rest of my life wondering why I didn't get to keep you with me for the lonely years ahead that I now face without you. You raised my daughters with me and made them the beautiful young ladies they are today. You legacy will live on in them. Your loving and heartbroken daughter,
Charmaine

Dear Malcolm, Samantha, Charmaine, McKenzie, Brooklyn, George and Otis
Our family is thinking of you all at this sad, sad time.
We are June (Janett) and Brian Hallam's family and we are sure that we have all meet Adele when our parents lived at Otaki. Adele's mum, Alaire, was June's cousin and we remember how closely they kept in contact through their lives, Aubrey and Brian too of course.
We hope that the farewell for your loved wife, mum and grandmother will be full of the colour you have asked for, laughter among the tears, and many beautiful, lasting memories of Adele.
I am sorry I am unable to be with you on the 22 January to represent my family but we all send our deepest sympathy and love to you all.
With warmest regards
Carol Dean (Ruakaka), sister Jennifer Jacobs (Whanganui), and brothers Lee Hallam (Waikanae) and Joe Hallam (Napier), and our families.

Sending my sympathy's to the family. I have memories of a very happy Adele, a Mum that worked hard for her family, supported their dreams and life paths. I also remember leading her daughter astray as a teenager and the you've been naughty girls' look on her face! Sending love and hugs to comfort your families pain. X Janine
