RoseMarie Wilson Obituary

RoseMarie Wilson was born April 18, 1922 to Albert and Minna Sophia (Muery)  Bolli .

She left this earth to be with Jesus on February 19, 2022, 2 months shy of her 100th birthday.

She grew up in Sanger, Ca. with her half- sister, Frieda and two brothers, Albert and Johnny.  When she was 18, she married the love of her life, Raymond Wilson and together they built a life and had three daughters.  As a young girl, RoseMarie learned the art of quilting but had little time in her life to enjoy the art until her husband   became ill in the 1990’s when he helped her design and create them.  After he died of cancer in 1996, her quilting took off and she made many beautiful quilts.  In 2000 she, her youngest daughter, Patty and granddaughter, Crystal went to Switzerland, the homeland of her father.  She said “It was the trip of a lifetime.”   She talked about Switzerland all her life and she was very proud of her heritage.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, her half-sister, Frieda, brothers Albert, Johnny, and grandson Fred Harlan.

She leaves behind her 3 daughters, Janice Harlan (Melvin), Betty Baxter and Patricia Hanscom (Russell).  Also surviving her are 6 grandchildren, Scott Harlan, Rebecca McClure (Steve), Deborah Jensen,  Jeffery Anderson (Jennifer),  Andrew Hanscom and Crystal Hanscom and fourteen great-grandchildren all who love her dearly  and will miss her greatly.

RoseMarie was deeply loved and respected by all who knew her.

At RoseMarie’s request, a graveside service was held Feb. 28, 2022 at the Sanger Del-Rey Cemetery under the direction of Wallin Funeral Home in Sanger, Calif.

Remebrances may be made to The American Cancer Society,  St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital   or the charity of your choice.
