MORTON - Philipp Max Fehr, 56, of Morton died at 5:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born Dec. 18, 1953, in Peoria to Wade W. and Marjorie A. Hoerr Fehr.
He is survived by his mother, Marjorie Fehr of Peoria; his brothers, Wade "Randy" Fehr of Peoria and Michael (Tina) Fehr of Peoria; his sisters, Kathleen Brewer of Peoria and Nanette David of Peoria; seven nephews; three nieces; and several aunts, uncles and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He was a graduate of the TMH Program at Heading School in Peoria.
He was a member of PARC and was involved in Special Olympics, where he swam and played softball and basketball.
He loved to swim, walking the Florida beaches on trips with his family, going to U of I football games with his Uncle Leo, attending Bradley basketball games and going places with his uncles and cousins. He loved people, singing and had a great memory. He was a fan of the Chicago Cubs.
He attended Sheridan Road Apostolic Church in Peoria, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010. Church ministers will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at The Wilton Mortuary in Peoria, and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday morning at the church prior to services. Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery in Edwards.
