Patricia “Patty” Vasquez

84, of Wichita, KS peacefully passed away on Tuesday, June, 14, 2022.  On Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 2351 N. Market, Wichita, KS.  A rosary will be prayed at prayed at 9:30AM with a mass of Christian burial immediately following the rosary at 10:00AM.  Burial will follow the funeral at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1938 E. 12th Ave., Winfield, KS.

Patricia was born in Madison, KS on March 17, 1938.  She graduated from Winfield High School.  Patricia worked as a registrar in admission for Ascension Via Christi St. Francis for 40 plus years.  She loved animals, especially dogs and enjoyed sewing and other crafts.

Patricia is survived by her sisters, Josephine Vasquez and Juanita Cline; nieces, Chtherine (Steven) Hiser, Julia (Manuel) Guevara, great niece, Elisa (Andrew) Thompson; great nephew, Jonathan A. Nevarez; an uncle, an aunt and many cousins and friends.

Patricia is preceded in death by parents, Joaquin and Lola Vasquez; sister, Lola “Dolores” Vasquez; brother in law, William W. Cline and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
