Malory Boswell Obituary

Malory Erick Boswell, December 2, 1946 ~ November 4, 2025
Malory became a Durham resident in 1954 with his parents, Elsie Flowers Boswell and Graham Freeman Boswell. He graduated from Northern High School in 1965 and began active duty in the U.S. Naval Reserve in 1967 serving through October 1968. In 1970 he graduated from Durham Technical Institute and utilized his skills in his career as a wood products sales specialist and retired from LTL Home Products in January of 2008.
He enjoyed spending time with friends at Honey's, barbeque at Bullocks, and as a NASCAR fan he often invited friends and family to join him at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025 at 11:00 am at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 3712 Cheek Rd, Durham, NC 27704 with the Rev. Artie Hendricks officiating. Pallbearers are Dave Brown, Johnny Humphries, Gerald (Chip) Aiken, Chad Wheeley, Jim Dearing, Joe Martin, as well as honorary pallbearers, Bill Boswell, Billy Flowers, Aydren Flowers, Joe Watson, Russell Snipes, Jeff Williams, Tim Watson, and Jasper Womble.
Malory requested that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Make A Wish Eastern North Carolina, 3809 Computer Drive, Suite 201, Raleigh, NC 27609.
