Clara Mildred Mora, 89, of North Platte, Nebraska passed away October 26, 2025 at Great Plains Health in North Platte. She was born on June 18, 1936, to Miles and Elizabeth (Balcom) Rumsey in Grand Island, Nebraska.
Clara was united in marriage to Joe Mora on January 16, 1957 in Julesburg, Colorado. The family lived in North Platte where she was a homemaker, taking care of her family. Clara loved to dance while Joe was playing his fiddle and the guitar at the Senior Center. She will be remembered as very friendly, neighborly and loved her family.

Nebraska; son, Terry (Jennifer) Mora, Fremont, Nebraska; grandchildren, Rafeal Mora, North Platte, Nebraska, Lacey Sweet, North Platte, Nebraska, Tyler Mora, North Platte, Nebraska, Crystal Mora, North Platte, Nebraska, Justin Mora, Fremont, Nebraska, Nicholas Mora, Fremont, Nebraska, Shelby Schildhauer; 10 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Margaret Mora, North Platte, Nebraska.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Albert and Kenneth; 1 sister, Dolly.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at North Platte Cemetery. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements

Clara was a very sweet person. I'll always remember her knitting. Very talented with that and even made me a beautiful afghan that I still have to this day and cherish. She loved her family very much. My deepest condolences to all of you. And prayers for comfort. RIP Clara.
