Kenneth THOMPSON Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth Owen Thompson (KO) peacefully on Friday 26 December 2025, at Wellington Hospital after a short illness. Aged 93 years. Dearly loved husband of Dorothy (deceased)and loved partner of Anne. Dad to Patricia and Raymond. Pop to Maddie and Holly and Great-Grandfather to Theo and Archie. Forever remembered as a humble man with a great sense of humour who achieved so much. At Kenneth's request a private cremation has taken place. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Ward 5 South.

I was terrified of Ken when I first met him in the 80s due his position but when I got to know him I realized he was a humble, intelligent man with a wicked sense of humour and was always keen for banter, always a gentleman. What a wonderful long life, rest in peace now Ken x

Sending condolences to you all.
My Mum, Joyce, still remembers Ken as a young boy and she will miss the email communications with Ken that she has had in latter years.
I have fond memories growing up of Uncle Ken's cheeky grin and sense of humour.
An end of an era for the Thompson family - being the last of the siblings.
