On 16 January 2026, peacefully, surrounded by family, aged 86. Dearly loved daughter of the late Bobbie Clark and Bert Butterworth. Cherished wife of the late Ralph Tonks. Much loved mum and mother-in-law of Kaye, Mike & Jacquie, and Karen & John. Grandma of Charlotte, Amanda, Alice, Sophie, Lucia and Emilia. Great-Grandma of Emmanuelle, Sebastian, Pascale, Rufus, Freddie, Eleanor, Lucy and Tobias. The family would like to thank the staff at Bupa Whitby for their loving care of Joy.
