MNZM, Current President of Vietnamese Buddhist Community in Wellington.

Passed away, surrounded by close family, on December 11, 2024 at his home; aged 92 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Rose Huong Nguyen. Loving father of Hoa & Hau, Anh & Quy, Hung & Hoang, Dzung & Hoa, and Dat & Holly. Much loved Grandfather of his 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Loved brother of Que (USA). Loved Uncle of Elizabeth and John. Sadly missed by all his extended family and friends. Loved by the Vietnamese Buddhist Community in Wellington and Thien Thai Monastery. We love you so much. Special thanks to the staff of Te Omanga Hospice for their care and support of Hai. Donations may be made online at www.teomanga.org.nz or left at the service. From Monday, 16 December, until Wednesday, 18 December, those who wish to pay their respects are welcome to come to the Monastery. A Service will be held at the Thien Thai Monastery, 46 Moeraki Road, Maoribank, Upper Hutt, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 10.00am, followed by private cremation.
