MIDWOOD, Zona Astor (nee Mackie). Passed away peacefully at her home in Takahiwai on Thursday 9th August, in her 81st year. Much loved daughter of Daphne and Ngawati (Bill) Mackie. Adored wife of Gabriel Paheke Midwood and precious mother of Harry, Peter, Joanne, Lance, Laurie, Ali and Tania. A much loved nan to all her mokopuna. Mum will lie in state at Takahiwai Marae, until the funeral service at 11am on the 12th August. Moe mai ra whaea I roto I te ringa kaha o te kainga nui
