LIAW, Dr Yet Keong (Frank) QSM. Passed away, with his beloved wife beside him after a two year battle with cancer, in Christchurch on Friday, February 27, 2026, aged 76 years. Beloved husband of 49 years of Irene, much loved father and father-in-law of Lee and Kelly, and Jo Lyn and Stephen, and Kong Kong of Thea, Harriet, and Spencer; and Owen, and Aubrey. Dr Frank Liaw proudly served Turangi and Ngati Tuwharetoa as a doctor for 35 years. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Dr. Frank Liaw, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to gutcancer.org.nz would be appreciated, and can be made online. At the request of the family, a private service will be held.
