Winston DAVIES Obituary

DAVIES, Winston Gordon. 3-6-1940 - 21-10-2023 Passed away peacefully at the William Sanders Resthome, Devonport. Beloved husband of Elizabeth for 53 years, cherished father to Nick, Jon and Teresa, adored grandfather to Kent, Harriette, Cameron, Nathan, Georgia and Alexis. A service will be held at the Northcross Church, 826A East Coast Road, Oteha on Friday 27 October at 2pm.

You were always such a delight Uncle Win!!! I loved your welcoming way and just such a joy to be around❤. So much love to the family, especially my cousins, Aunty Liz and the grandchildren. It was an absolutely beautiful service to a great man today.

Elizabeth and family.
We were sad to hear of Win's passing. From being one of the Onehunga group many years ago, he was the groomsman for Jean and myself at our wedding.
We remember Win as a true gentleman, always thoughtful and considerate of others.
The world is a sadder and quieter place without his presence.

Dear Elizabeth & Family
We are saddened to hear that Win has passed. I was honoured to purchase and continue his business for a number of years. I valued our great relationship and he helped me get on my feet in the early days. He was a true gentleman. Sorry we won't be able to attend the funeral on Friday, as we now live down south.
