Winifred JAMES Obituary

JAMES, Winifred Mary (Wyn). Passed away peacefully at Auckland Hospital on 21 November 2023, aged 80. Dearly loved wife of Noell for over 50 years. He was so proud to be her husband. Treasured mum of Richard and Kathryn. Mother-in-law of Lisa and Pete and adored grandmother of Maisie, Gracie, Chloe, George and Henry. Sister of Claire and the late Anne. Aunty and great aunty to many. A great lady who will be missed by all. A private cremation will be held and there will be a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to Street Child Sierra Leone would be appreciated. Correspondence to Murray Halberg Retirement Village, Lynfield.

To Noell, Richard, Kathryn and families, I'll always remember Wyn as a wonderful friend who always saw the best in people. She was a caring and kind wife to Noell and was absolutely devoted to her children. She adored her grandchildren. A great loss!! My love and sympathy to you all.
