William THOMSON Obituary

THOMSON, William Gavin. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Thomson, loved father of Kate, Sara and Hugh. Bill passed away peacefully on the 5th of April 2026, aged 94, at Edenvale Home and Hospital in Auckland. Our grateful thanks to the wonderful staff at Edenvale Home for their loving care of our father. At Bill's request, a private cremation has taken place. A life full of music, boats, and good friends. Rest in peace.

Bill was a great friend especially of my parents John and Elsie Brooke. He enjoyed yachting with them. I enjoyed attending the North Shore Mens Choir of which Bill was a member. A family friend over many years.
