It was a shock to learn of Bill's passing on our return to NZ.
Please accept these late condolences to all the Sweetman family.

We wish to pass on to Diana and all the family our sincere condolences and sadness for the loss of Bill. His unexpected passing away was a big shock to us. He has been such a great man in so many ways and he has always been a cousin with a big smile, sense of humour and enjoying life.
We're currently in Canada, so a big apology not being able to attend Bill's funeral in person

Saddened to hear of Bill's passing. He was my boss at AGC and is the epitome of a great leader. He had great empathy towards his staff and backed them 100%. You always knew where you stood with Bill. My condolences to his family. You will be missed Bill, I will always remember your brilliant smile and laid back aura you had which calmed many around you.

One of the good guys, gone too soon. I worked with Bill at AGC for many years. I´m sure there are many of my colleagues who will be sorry to hear such awful news. Condolences to Bills family.

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Bill's passing and are unfortunately away overseas and unable to attend his farewell. Sincere condolences to Diana and all the family. We will miss seeing Bill in both Devonport and Whangamata.

SWEETMAN, William Stuart (Bill). Born January 30, 1953. Passed away on May 03, 2023. Suddenly taken from our lives. Bill was a caring, wonderful Step Dad , Dad in Law, Step Grandad and friend to Andrea, Brendan, Danielle, Emma, Logan, Missy, Lachlan and Holly. He will be especially missed at family vacations in their house in Whangamata and all our family gatherings. We will give you a great send off at Devonport Yacht Club 1pm Thursday 11th.
