I have just learned today of William´s passing. A true gentlemen - a great advocate for college rugby and a valued member of the Wellington secondary schools executive.

Very sad news, he was a great man, teacher at ST Pats Town and former representative rugby player, I always enjoyed seeing him and chatting about Rugby and the parent teacher feedback later , condolences to the Strang family

I met Willie in Wellington around 1964/5 when we both worked for Shell Oil. I remember him as a really nice friendly chap with a very calm and lovely manner. A great Man! My sympathy to his family.
