William SINCLAIR Obituary

SINCLAIR, William (Bill). Died peacefully at Edmund Hillary Retirement Village surrounded by Family. Aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband for 70 years of Val (nee Buckley). Treasured Dad of Mark and Israel, Liz and Wally, Ross and Robyn, and Jill and John. Adored Grandad of Ryan, Matthew and Emma, Ben, Rosalie, Jonno and Tim, Kate and Will, and great Grandad to Liam, Eve, Zoe, Pippa, Lily, Charlie, Lola, Billy, Olive, Fern, Ocean and Beth. Loved brother of the late Joyce, Colleen, Keith and Eileen. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at All Saint's Chapel, Purewa crematorium, 100 St John's Road, Meadowbank on Tuesday 18th February at 12.00 noon. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Edmund Hillary for taking special care of Bill.

Bill was one of the hardest working men I've ever known, making his home and gardens beautiful with Val by his side giving the direction. If she could dream it, he could build it. He was always kind and wise and just a little naughty. I'm probably one of many who learned the art of the Gin and Tonic from Bill. Blessings to you, dear Bill, and to your beautiful family.
