William SHEARS Obituary
SHEARS, William Henry Nephi (Bill) on 10th September 2013 peacefully at home after a brave battle, Bill is now at rest. He faced adversity with courage, strength and humour. Dearly loved husband of Royce for 63 years. Loving father and father in law of Tony and Elizabeth, Graham and Alison, Kay and Roger. Cherished Poppa of Nick, Kate, Chris and Taryn, Amy and Rob, Emma and Dan, Thomas, Spencer, Kyle, Poppy and Calla. The Mighty Tree has fallen. Grateful thanks to all our amazing Health Professionals and Mercy Hospice for their loving care. A Service will be held at the Avondale RSA, Layard St, Avondale on Saturday 14th September 2013 at 10.30am. Thereafter private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to Mercy Hospice, PO Box 47-693, Ponsonby, would be appreciated.

40 years of memories. What great times we had on car rallies and visits on both sides of the ditch. So many laughs, no tears.
Bill, we hope you took your tools with you. There must be something there that needs fixing. Hang your tools up on the floor........the same as at home.
