Phil, Gayleen and family, my condolences to you an this sad news, I often recalled Farley teaching me how to fillet a fish without wasting the flesh, giving me kina for lunch :( and sharing the best smoked snapper heads I have ever had! Never to be forgotten.

What wonderful memories we have of our childhood with you Uncle Farley and Auntie Mavis & the boys. Michael, Kerry John & Colleen Partridge

Uncle Farley, I have wonderful memories of the greatest of childhood times growing up at Onetangi, and you and Auntie Mavis were so much part of this. And I thank you for those memories. How you taunted me with the troll under the bridge when I came visiting. Rest my dear friend. Colleen Fearnley-Platten (nee Partridge).

You tried your best to smile when we visited you in March and recalled days gone by , a fond memory.

Warm memories of so many special times at Waiheke, particularly at Mavis & Farley's house. Their kindness and hospitality touched so many. You have lost a great Dad, grandad and great grandad - but what a fabulous legacy.

Remembering Farley for his simple and inspiring way of life. His love of nature, especially the sea makes it fitting to be his final resting place. Hugs to all.

Peter, Tanya, Phil, Gaileen and Family, even though we are many miles across the ocean our hearts go out to you today, We feel honored to have met Farley and know how important he was in all of your lives.
