Bill was a patient of Milford Eye Clinic for a long time. He was such a lovely man and it was real a pleasure to see him regularly. I was very sorry to hear the sad news. He will be missed by all of us at Milford Eye Clinic.

Our sincere condolences in the passing of Bill. He was a good friend to 3 generations of our family. An early riser, a cup of strong coffee and he would work hard all day. Always there to support with a ready smile.
Thanks for your friendship Bill.
With love the Porter & Strain families

RYAN, William (Bill). The Takapuna Bowling Club board of management and members are sure many bowlers from the North Harbour centre and beyond will join with them in honouring the passing of one of the club's most distinguished players. Bill joined Takapuna in 1983 and has been one of the club's longest serving members. His contribution to the club, both for his playing ability on the green and off it for his handyman skills, will be always valued. A top player and a thorough gentleman has delivered his last thundering drive.
