William Joseph RAITT

William RAITT Obituary

RAITT, William Joseph (Bill). Passed away peacefully 15 November 2014 after a short illness, in his 97th year. Loved husband of the late Peg, loved father and father in law of Wayne and Rhonda (Melbourne), Shirley and Murray Borck (Taupo), Keven and Brigid (Perth), Alan and Jan (Hamilton), Cathrine and Rob Sexton (Hamilton). Loved poppa to Robert Raitt, Haedyn, Lindsey and Loren Borck, Tania and Matthew Raitt, Sarah, Thomas and Benjamin Sexton and great poppa to 7. Many thanks to the staff at Trevellyn for the care given to Bill over the past 6 months. A service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at Scots Presbyterian Church, 32 Vardon Road, Hamilton on Wednesday 19th November at 1.30 p.m. followed by a private cremation. All communications to 138 Grey Street, Hamilton 3126. FDANZ

We are very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Our sincere condolences to you all. We only heard last night. And see in funeral notice today on internet that we have missed your family tribute and service to such lovely man, today, too. We are really sorry we didn't see notice in time. Tony would have loved to have caught up with the family. It's been a very long time since he's seen some of you. If any of you are floating around in Matiere please call in. Tony and Gaylene Atkins.

Thinking of all of Uncle Bills family at this time. when ever I tink of Uncle Bill I remember the good times I had when I was young and I visited the farm. And a trip to the snow and fish and chips afterwards. What a lovely gentleman who will be missed.
