William PLUNKETT Obituary

PLUNKETT, William (Bill) JP. Passed away 11 February 2018, peacefully after a long illness. Much loved husband of Yvette and father of Rebecca and the late Jon and granddad to Liam. Loved son of Mary and the late Ernie and adored older brother and brother in law of David and Raewyn, Michael and Trish and Steve. Loved by Richard, Kylie, Allie, Evie, Annette and Mark. Cherished and much loved friend to too many to mention. His contribution and commitment to many community trusts and associations is enormously valued and appreciated. Bill so stoically and bravely fronted his battle head on and without complaint. A service for Bill will be held at the North Harbour Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Rd Albany on Friday, 16 February 2018 at 12:30pm followed by private cremation. I remember Bill as a cadet when we were training. Very intelligent, humorous and sharp witted and at times a bit of a scoundrel but very likeable at all times. I am very sad to see that he has passed on and I am sure that he will be missed by his family and others who knew him.

PLUNKETT, William (Bill) JP. Bill you will be sadly missed by your fellow trustees. Your dedication, commitment and leadership of the Birkenhead Licensee Trust was second to none. You have left a legacy that will benefit many in our community. Our hearts and prayers are with Yvette and the family. Rest in peace.
