William LIPSCOMBE Obituary

Lipscombe, William David (David). It is with a heavy heart we share the news that William "David" Lipscombe passed away suddenly at his home around the 4th of December 2025. He was born November 2nd 1955 in Christchurch. When he left school he started an apprenticeship to become a master carpenter. He worked for many years in construction. He had a life long passion for trains. He traveled to ride on, and film trains whenever he could. In his last few years traveled across the USA and around the South Island of New Zealand. He is preceded in death by his parents Joan and Bill, and younger brother Peter. He will be missed by his sister Christine (Jeff), Nephew Joe (Michelle) and family.
