LAMPITT, William Harold. Bill, fondly known as "Bones" to most of his friends. 07 March 1966 - 11 February 2021 Only son of John and Ailsa Lampitt; survived by his sister, Joanne Scanlan. Bill passed away in Auckland Hospital on 11th February, following sudden cardiac arrest on 6th February and thereafter a non- recoverable coma. Due to changing Covid Levels, Bill's funeral did not proceed. A private cremation was held on Friday 19th February, which will be followed by a Memorial Service at a later date; yet to be decided. Bill, you and your constant voice, generous heart and humour are already sorely missed by Chris Hall, your cat (named Cat), Gayle, all your numerous mates, your work colleagues at The Salvation Family Store in Stanmore Bay, The Crow's Nest and your family. Your sudden departure has left us all in shock, as you were like a cat with nine lives and we thought you would outlive us all. Forever Fishing now.
