William Laird Obituary

LAIRD, William Tully (Bill). (Regtl No. 45125 NZA 27th Battalion WWII Vet). On September 18, 2011 peacefully at North Haven Residential Care, Whangaparaoa, in his 94th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Helen and Amy. Much loved father and father-in-law of Elizabeth and John, Barry and Lorraine, Des, Jack and Elaine, Faye, Shona, Noelene and Mick, and Robyn and Denis. Loved Grandad/Poppa of his many grand and great- grandchildren. A service for Bill will be held at the Chapel of Morris & Morris Funerals (entrance 17 Western Hills Drive), Whau Valley, Whangarei at 1.30pm Thursday September 22, 2011 followed by interment at the Kauri Services Lawn Cemetery, Apotu Road, Kauri. A special thank you for Sue and all her Team at North Haven Residential Care in Wheti Ward and Shakespeare Ward for the love, care and dedication shown to Bill and his family.
