William HUTCHINSON Obituary

HUTCHINSON, William Hanley. Died on 26 November 2022 after a brave long battle, aged 81 years. Lifelong orchardist of Huanui Orchards, Whangarei. Elder son of the late Noel and Ella Hutchinson. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Margaret and Robert Reynolds, Don and Kathy Hutchinson, Dale Hutchinson and Dale Simkin and uncle of Jocelyn and Paul Shutte, Bruce and Deborah Reynolds, Katrina and Anthony Gysberts, Anna and Richard Carr and their families. Thank you to Auckland and Whangarei Canopy Care, to the many amazing medical specialists and the staff of Whangarei Hospice who tirelessly cared for Hanley. A service to celebrate Hanley's life will be held on Wednesday 30 November at 2pm at Newberrys Funeral Home followed by private cremation. Hanley was a major supporter and contributor to our project over a number of years, we enjoyed hosting him on his visits and explaining all technical details he was interested in on the clocks construction, we wish to express our sincere condolences to Hanley's family, we remember Hanley as a dear friend and colleague.
