William Eagle Obituary

EAGLE, William Patrick (Bill). Passed away peacefully in the care of his family at Napier, on August 26, 2010 aged 70 years. Good mate and Dad of Tracey and Kevin Thompson, Shane, Brent, Sharryn and Chris Greaney, and Mark (Sydney). Friend and ex-husband of Lyn. Funny Grandad and Poppa of Cullen, Britney and Riley. Eldest son of Reg and Molly Eagle (both deceased). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Moira and the late Ken Tracy (Waiuku), Bernard and Colleen (Waiuku), Max and Chris (Adelaide), Tony and Barbara (Wellington), and uncle of his many nephews. Thank you to Dr Allen, Pauline and the team at Villa 6 HBRH, Dr Pratt, Cranford Hospice, his caregiver Leone and all medical and support staff that helped us have Dad at home for his last days. Special thanks to his other family - his friends at the Napier Cossie Club for looking after Bill all these years. We would like to help The Cancer Society fight cancer by having Daffodils and a donation box at the service, and would appreciate your support. A service for Bill will be held in the Ocean's Bar at the Napier Cosmopolitan Club, Marine Parade, Napier on Sunday, August 29 at 2.30pm followed by private cremation. EAGLE, William Patrick (Bill). On 26 August 2010 at Napier. Loved eldest son of the late Reg and Molly Eagle. Loved brother and brother in law of Moira and Ken (deceased) Tracy (Waiuku), Bernard and Colleen Eagle (Waiuku), Max and Chris (Adelaide), Tony and Barabara (Wellington). Loved uncle Bill to Warwick and Hayden, Ryan and Brett, and Liam. Rest peacefully Bill.
