William DUNN Obituary

Hi Pat,
Peter and I were good friends, as well as cousins, back in the day. He stayed with us Coyles in Mt Eden for a few months . . I suppose it was early `60s . . But for various reasons work etc we did not see each other a hell of a lot over the years. And of course in the early `70s, after I had married `trisha´s friend Lyndsay Harris, we moved to the South Island and here we are still living in Christchurch. I can´t remember when I met you, but it was a while ago for sure. You´ve been a saint, to be fair. I really liked Peter, and I was sad to see him struggle in his twilight years. We both shared the honour of descending from a great Northland family.
Please accept my/our sincere condolences: you, your family, Blen, Judy, and everyone else that I can´t think of at this time. I can´t see me getting to the funeral, but I feel I should be there. My son is visiting Tauranga at present. He will leave before the funeral but he may be able to visit you briefly on our behalf.
